Transcript of the Will of William Rowlands
In the Name of God amen. October the thirteenth 1724
I William Rowlands of Notgrove in the County of Gloucester being sick of body but of sound & perfect memory Do make this my Last Will & Testament first I make voyd all Wills by me formerly made & this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner & form following my will is that my Just debts be paid.
Then I Give & bequeath to my Grandaughter Elizabeth Davise fifteen pounds & all my Household Goods.
I Give & bequeath to my Grandson Nathaniel Davise ten pounds if he pleases his Father & Mother or that the Money to be at their disposing.
I Give to my Grandaughter Sarah Rowlands five pounds if her C--- to s-- m- or ---- to Remain? to my Executor.
I Give to all my Grandchildren the sons & daughters of Willm Hart five shillings a piece.
Then I Give & bequeath all the Rest of my Goods & Chattels bills bonds & Ready money to my son in Law Nathaniel Davise. I make & ordain Nathaniel Davise my son in Law Hole & sole Executor of this my Last Will & Testament in witness hereof I have here unto set my hand & seal the Day & year above written.
